Dishnetwork Kicked VS. Channel

If you have Dishnetwork and like hunting shows on VS.,you will get a nice little surprize next time you go to watch it.It's gone!I guess they are copying Directv fo no apparent reason.OOOH,they added NtGeo to the basic lineup now, woopie doo!Now I get to be told I came from a monkey, and can't watch hunting at the same time.

well,I got the answer to what is going on.They took it off from all the packages exept for the biggest package, the 250.I guess poor people that like hunting are out of luck like me.Only wealthy people can watch them shoot way too many deer anyways.

We had VS HD for months and months,so I know it wasn't promotional, they just decided to put it from the basic package 3-4 steps up to the best package, and where I live there are only 2 options,Dishnetwork and Directv. They are the same as far as i'm concerned.

VS Channel

I have Comcast and I get VS as well as the outdoor channel and sportsmens network which unlike VS does not show Bull riding and ice hockey. I like my outdoor shows. Check out comcast.

I have Dish and I just checked. I still have it, but then I'm paying for the Gold package. FYI, for me, in the Chicago.IL area it's channel 151...

I had it for months and it was channel 151.It's dissappeared today off the basic lineup and it's only available on the highest package.BTW,I can only get dishnetwork or directv here, there are NO cable lines or dsl lines or anything out here.

I hunt and live in my own hunting shows. I don't need to see someone else shoot deer that much bigger than mine.

VS was removed from DirecTV because the folks at Comcast decided to ask for a lot more money for DTV to show it. Which is probably why Dish did the same thing.

Hello Mr.Bowers,(heavy on the mister).Hows hunting going this year?I'm doing ok as far as eating game but no trophies.I believe I may be sleeping at the wrong time,(as oposed to staying awake like I did when younger). As to watching tv,I have it on,but can't hear it so I make up my own story.(probably wouldn't like what they say anyway.) ,,,sam.
