Sprinfield 1911 GI Micro

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum and trying to figure things out. Anyways, just put some cash down on a Springfield GI 1911 Micro. Anyone have some experience with this particular model? I currently own a Ruger sr9, Glock 23 and Bersa 380. Thanks in advance for your guidance and input.

First things first, Welcome to G&G , it's a great place to learn and share. and we do love pictures. as far as the 1911 micro - in my world anything 1911 is wonderful.
Springfield makes a good product , If you can handle the recoil in a small frame then you have a super CCW . Good choice.

John,

Thank you so much for the warm welcome and also for the input. The gun felt really nice as I have smaller hands. I think that I will probably do a little something with the front site and perhaps add a slide release extension. Who knows, more than anything the gun's reliability and durability are of utmost importance. Thanks again! Ill post some pictures in the near future.
