Question What is this bayonet?

I picked up this bayonet during a raid in Iraq and can't figure out what its for. I talked to a couple of guys today at the gunshow and they couldn't tell me either. One said it looked French or Swiss, another said maybe British and WWII era. No markings. Has a 1" circle. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's definatly an HK bayonet. The most likely place of origin is Iran. The were a licenced manufactuer of G3 before the fall of the Shaw and the G3 was replaced with the AK by the Revolutionary Council. They still had plenty of G3s in stock (though mostly worn out) and smuggled them to Iraqi insurgents along with other cast off weapons and explosives to fight the U.S.

We found a few in Baghdad along with other weapons ranging from WWI to present.
