Century C93 Sporter/H&K 93 style clone.

This may sound stupid, but I just bought one of these as they are cheaper than the actual HK, but i've come up completely empty on trying to find a manual to break down and clean it! It came with a manual for a CETME .308!? I have now spent hours searching the web for any detailed info....Does ANYONE have any suggestions, websites, manuals etc that you can direct me to? I'm not familiar with HK, and i'd like to know what i'm doing before i mess the thing up. Thanks in advance for any help.

It comes apart the same as the HK or the Cetme...same system just different caliber...Pull the rear pin(s), slide the stock and spring assy out,
Drop the trigger assy away, out comes the bolt and carrier...

Every new gun should come with an owners manual, if not then just write or call the manufactuer for one and they should provide one for free (helps cut down on AD lawsuits).

As cool as this rifle is, due to the price of surplus magazines from Germany, I'd rather buy the CETME rifle. Anything the .223 round can do, the .308 can do better, albeit with more recoil. Now, having said that, if Century started making a copy of the MP 5...THAT would be really cool! I wonder why they don't?

Although I don't have a C93 I do have both a Hk93 and a CETME, and they all pretty much disassemble the same and are pretty straight forward. The only thing that can be a bit of a pain is putting the bolt head and wedge back into the carrier as you need to keep the bolt head from going rearward into a locked position. Other that that these rifles are a breeze to disassemble and clean compared to many others. As for the .223 vs .308 debate I love the design in either caliber and wouldn't trade my Hk93 for any other .223, although I have added others since getting it ;-)
