... it's been here for a while. got whacked a week or so ago now by a blizzard and followed up by sub-zero temps. It's actually balmy today at 27 degrees.

... the ski mobile trail is hopping and we're in about a foot of snow after the first 'real' snowfall of the season.

... although, I think the members from Alaska and Kompressor have us all beat easily...

35- 68 here, the fog has all us deer hunters griping. Lots of rain. It got to 19 one night. Stocked up.
Dropped five hundred at CostCo for the last three months on food. Shelves are full. World wide food production is way low right now. We will use what stores we have by September 2010. Stock up now.

Good to hear. I ment over all, not specifically any one thing. I am thankfull that we had to change the water pump in our truck last week, and not a month from now when it might be icy and snow on the grownd. Everything you need seems to breakdown when you need it the most. But I guess we're in good shape, at least I think we are, for winter. Last years ice storm knocked out powerer for about 3 weeks at my house. To be honest, I liked it. Go outside at night and look around and all you could see was stars, no lights on the ground of any kind, I loved it.

LOL And it looks like I need to change the air in everything that has tires, to winter air.
Shute I'm getting tired already LOL

Where roughly are you located? We had a ice storm here last Jan/Feb....on the MO/ARK border in the Ozarks.

Well... It may be a joke. But I remember in my first years as a car owner it often happened in the winter that my tyres lost pressure when temps dropped below -20F (yeah, there's a minus there...) due to humid air in the tyres from filling up in July. It made the filling valves open! Nowadays better compressors with built in air driers serve us good by filling up our tyres with DRY air.
-But keep laughing down there in the "south" if you want!

Don't forget to check the turn signal fluid? Also you should change the spark plugs in you diesel engine for the winter.

Oh and no snow here but the temp is a balmy 37 degrees.
