What did everyone GIVE for Christmas?

Just interested in seeing how the other side of the coin went. Don't need to list everything, but I figured it could be a fun discussion.

Headlights and an Ace store gift card for Dad.
Bubble Bath and smelly stuff for my mom.
Hot sauce for the brother.
And nail polish for the little sister.

Gotta love the recession.

Outstanding thought!

I got the wife a soapstone steamer for the woodstove, some leather driving gloves, some bubble bath, and a jigsaw puzzle. We got her kids some stuff, but mostly we spoiled the two grandkids that live nearby. My SIL got a boresnake for his .17 HMR and will be getting a neat combination cleaning kit and gun rest in a box. Other SILs are getting shooting earmuffs. Other grandkids will get a toy crossbow and compound bow, another one gets an erector set.

And, oddly enough, I got about 10 pounds of large grade 2 nuts bolts and washers for the grandkids. I think it will work the hand/eye coordination some and help them get into the mechanical aspect of things instead of total electronics.

We were doing better this year than in years past, so we "adopted" a family through the local food pantry.

You know it's been a good christmas for everyone, but i feel better about that than anything

I had the in-laws and the parents over. My brother-in-law and niece stopped too. We ate and drank and enjoyed ourselves.

I passed on the hunting tradition to my nephew this year . . . a muzzleloader, good Camillus deer knife and a fine hunting coat. He's hooked.

Got the wife a Necklace, flowers and got myself a new Forearm for the Bushy. No kids to deal with. Last week I visited some seniors and fixed little stuff for them free. I had to give more of my time this year than money.

I gave my wife a bunch of flowers and the use of our brand new car for half the year when I'm not at home to drive it!

Just remembered, I gave my niece a Frequent-Flyer airmiles return ticket to visit her cousins in South Africa for Xmas.

We went shopping at a local's only art and craft fair. My wife got a red blown glass necklace and a blue stone necklace. Along with a leaf casting that doubles as a candle holder. My daughter received some red slippers and a red robe. A gift card for the local record shop rounded out the deal. Hope y'all had a Merry Christmas, Andy

Great Post FH. Gifts were clothing and perfume for my wife. Clothes for son and daughter. And for the grandchildren it was, of course, TOYS. haha
I have to admit that I (and my wife) as grandparent(s) received the best gift, which was enjoying the kids Christmas eve and Christmas day. Just being there when they would run to us and give us a hug or kiss. All in all it was a wonderful Christmas.

I got my wife a video camera. She wanted one take videos of our son. I also built her some picture frames for all these pictures we have of our son, that don't have frames.

Key finder for my BIL, as he is always losing his keys.

GPS for my wife's grandpa, Johnny Jump Up for my son.

Gave my mom a juicing machine and some very expensive shampoo $40 a bottle (it wason sale), and another year of rent free living.
Still looking for a nice tobacco pouch for my brother. I got my buddy a couple of thousand $ of work just before xmas. Not really a present, but sure made his month. We pretty much tend to just buy eachother presents throughout the year.

Well, I gave my cash gift back so the car could get fixed. Kind of stinks.

But, then, I remembered that it isn't my birthday so why am I or should I be getting a present or presents anyways?
