Iraqis Call Shuttle Tragedy God's Vengeance

News of the loss of space shuttle Columbia and it's crew, including the first Israeli in space, prompted responses from Baghdad that is was God's retribution, according to a Reuters report.

"We are happy that it broke up," government employee Abdul Jabbar al-Quraishi told Reuters. "God wants to show that his might is greater than the Americans. They have encroached on our country. God is avenging us," he said.

Iraqis are braced for a possible U.S.-led war to rid their country of any chemical, biological or nuclear weapons it may possess. Iraq denies it has such weapons.

The report also stated that there were no such signs of excitement over the shuttle disaster in any of the Palestinian territories.

The official response from the Palestinians was reportedly one of condolence.

I believe it is time to bring a fire storm to Baghdad. Then they will know what true wrath is.

They think that the shuttle tragedy was vengence from god. Wait and see what vengence is bestowed upon them.

I told my wife last night that I knew something like this would soon be coming from them. Bombs away!

It's funny that you mentioned that. When I got home from work I told Sharron it wouldn't suprise me if the extremeists were cheering the shuttle tragedy.

I believe it is now the time to turn Iraq into a glass parking lot --maybe a small yield nuke would be a welcome feature in downtown bagdad

Thumbs down ooooooooooooooo, DON"T MESS WITH THE IRAQI'S

GOD be on their side!!!Blessed is the name of ALLAH!!!

it is so wrong to want to nuke that country for those statements.

a couple squadrons of C-130's with daisey-cutters, would work better, save the sand for making beer bottles at the Bagdad branch of Bud/Miller brewing

This was expected

Howdy,

I expected these a holes to say stuff like this too......

But I don't think we should nuke em for that.

However, that lying fat a#s mouthpiece for Saddam that held a news conference today and repeatedly blamed the uS for not allowing talks to continue, saying all evidence to the contrary about their weapons program was fabrications and lies and that they were willing to cooperate, on their terms again, well, get the bombs loaded, time to make a painted desert........

Your right Sniper,
We shouldn't nuke them for that, but the first time they lob VX, anthrax or any of that other nice stuff at us, we give them a taste.
