Question A Reminder of the Clinton Gore Legacy

A Reminder of the Clinton Gore Legacy

Can you name this country?

709,000 regular (active duty) service personnel

293,000 reserve troops;

Eight standing Army divisions;

20 Air Force and Navy air wings with 2,000 combat aircraft;

232 strategic bombers;

13 strategic ballistic missile submarines with 3,114 nuclear warheads on 232 missiles;

500 ICBMs with 1,950 warheads;

Four aircraft carriers, and;

121 surface combat ships and submarines, plus all the support bases, shipyards and logistical assets needed to sustain such a naval force.

Is this country Russia? . . . No

Red China ? . . . No

Great Britain ? . . . Wrong Again

USA? . . . Hardly

Give up??

Well, don't feel too bad if you are unable to identify this global superpower because this country no longer exists.

It has vanished.

These are the American military forces that have disappeared since the 1992 election of Bill Clinton and Al Gore.

They used to talk about how a war is good for the economy, I don't think it applies anymore. Everytime we have to fight a brush fire somewhere reservist are called up out of the workforce which lowers productivity. They then go from their regular paychecks to drawing their lower army pay, further reducing economic activity. Meanwhile the dregs of society continue to draw their welfare and drag the country ever closer to the abyss.

What really pi**es me off is when some Klinton supporter spouts off about how the size of "government" was actually reduced under his administration. For every 2 military positions he eliminated he added one to to the civilian side. The peace dividend was spent before there was peace or a dividend to spend.

Rather then send them to a foreign country to besmirch the good name of the US why not have them sit in the Arizona desert to test the effects of a nuclear bomb on humans. You can never have to much research. What we collected in Japan is probably a little out of date anyway.
