Mods. Sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. I couldn't find a specific forum problems area.

I am no longer getting the instant email notifications when someone replies to a topic I have posted in. I used to get them no problem. I haven't found them in my junk or spam boxes so that isn't the problem. The option is still selected in my CP so that isn't it. I'm at a loss here. Can a mod tell me why I am no longer getting these? I depend on that function to keep me up to date. I really want them back!

My last notification was on 12-29-2009.
I have also clicked on "instant notification" to try to reset it.
But, have had no luck!

I hope this can be resolved soon. I miss the hell out of that feature. It is a real time saver.

Sorry gents. I don't have an answer right now, but I will look into this and let you know tomorrow. We are making some changes here and there on the site. Trying to do it as seamless as possible, but occasionally something is affected.

Hi Folks: I just heard from Chris, and he is having some server/internet issues at the moment. Could be a few days before things are stable. I am not honestly sure whether this affects the issue of email notification or not, but have not forgotten your request and will get back to you as soon as we have some stability. I will follow up.

until this gets fixed you can click on search (not "search this thread"), then click on advanced search, then type in your username in the box that says "username" and this will bring up a list of every thread you have posted in. The ones in bold have been commented on since the last time you commented on it. I'm obviously not a mod, but I wasn't aware of the email notifications, so this is how i track the threads i have commented on...hope this helps!

The site was hit with a spam charge. Someone thought it was funny to report the site to their internet provider claiming we were sending them unwanted messages. Until this can get cleared up with the legal dept. from the server company...emails have halted a bit.
