MY GUESS......

post WWII crapola from west germany..... what calibre is it? looks like a .22lr......
anything that says "made in germany" in english was made after the war...... and it took them quite a while to get their factories back to high standards....
i'd probably keep it if i had it, but be careful shooting it......
that's my "expert" opinion......

anyone else?

i would guess.... this is just a guess.... around 1948-1952..... after that they got their manufacturing more together due to our help through the marshall plan....... quality improved slowly during the 1950's in all their exports..... (the german economy was completely destroyed during the 2nd ww)..... was my guess on the calibre correct?

They are called "drop guns". In case you need to "drop" one now and then. Very low end pistol.

I do NOT know it all... I know a lot about a lot because I am Old and I learned along the way. I also Have one of the Largest Gun Libraries in the area Built from years of Gunsmithing and reloading and building and testing guns so I can research what I may Not Know.
I started Learning Guns, Gunsmithing and reloading at the age of 18...I'm still learning today at 54...And with over 100 Guns to play with it never gets dull !

Not to put too fina a point on it. It's a POS. If you wanna use it as a starter pistol you may have to use one hand to make sure the cylinder rotates a round under the hammer.

I am surprised they are junk, ROHM makes very high quality keyless chucks for industrial use.
