My buddy at the range shows off his .50 Cal and Ar-15

This guy goes through .50 cal ammo and .223 ammo like there's no tomorrow!

+1 DF, if i could aford it I'd go for one myself, maybe a Robar instead of the barrett... If I remember right shotgun times had an article on the wave of budget .50's... using AR parts.

Yeah, there's a .50 BMG single shot upper for the AR. I can't remember who makes it though. I was looking at an EDM Arms Wind Runner until I actually shot a Barrett M95 bolt action. I'm not a huge fan of bolt action .50 BMGs. Even with the muzzle brake, I still got my bell rung. The semis are much nicer on me.

This is my Bushmaster BA-50. I picked it up a few months ago. It's a 10 shot repeater. Ammo isn't too bad depending where, and what you buy. Ball ammo runs around $4.00 a round. As soon as I get enough brass I'll get started reloading for it. Bill T.
