Blued Ruger Redhawk

The local shop has a blued 44 mag Redhawk, used, that's a usual Alaskan gun, holster wear but in pristine mechanical condition. Maybe a box of ammo through it. What would you pay ??

the going price

I found the going price is between $425 to $650. That on two different auction sites I follow to stay current when trading.

I gave $600 for my stainless 7 1/2" model 2 years ago. Except for lacking a box, it was like new. There were the usual powder rings around each cylinder mouth, but that was it. The scope rings came with it.

I heard things cost more in Alaska, though. Does that include guns?

Blued Redhawk should run in the $425 to $550 range depending on condition. The Alaskan Model in Stainless would be in the $650 plus range. Hard to find.

When you said it was the usual Alaskan gun, did you mean the Alaskan model, or a pretty typical gun that you would find in Alaska? I took it to mean the latter.

A blued RH with holster wear would run about $450 and up around here. I don't see a lot of RH's or SRH's on the used market local.
