What's the bolt size and pitch of 10/22....

Scope mount holes?

Metric 4,70 pitch, is to big but close,3 to small,

Standard#6 is to big, couldn't find a smaller size at Ace.

I don't know for sure, but I think they're going to be English. The design originated in the 70's or sooner, and metric measurements hadn't made that big a dent yet. I don't want to guess on the size, though. Some came with the rail I put on my gun, but they were just there.

They should be 6-48 screws NOT METRIC. They are US machine gun screws and not available at hardwares stores. Gun shops and gunsmith shops have them.
