I love my Spanish Lady! And her little sister, the FR8. Both are now wearing pretty new dresses. (I refinished the stocks.)
I had been wanting a 7.62X51 battle rifle, and briefly flirted with a rather b$#@%y little French maid - th MAS49/56 - never could get her to "put out" - wouldn't fire semi-auto reliably.
I was tempted by the Spanish Lady's good looks and low price. She's cheap, but she's no slut. Accurate, reliable and very pretty! What more could I want? The CAI monkey's did a good job assembling this one.
The wood was a bit "used" and needed some attention - but Wally Mart has all you need to fix that.
Tapco has the best deal on HK magazines - they work great in CETME's. You can put her in a German dress if you want - takes some work to fit the HK stocks though.
Get one, you won't be dissappointed. The stamped receivers and cast stainless steel receivers are both good.
I just had mine at the range today, we waltzed and she sang her song! So sweet . . .
