what ever happened to ...

What ever happened to St.Rock? I havent seen anything about him in years. Was he replaced by Wolverine?
Although I like Wolvie it would have been a poor choice.

Sgt Rock was a real bad a$$ with that Thompson and that cigar .
I always thought he was the coolest along with Rat Patrol and Combat. All that was in the 60s.Dad was a ret MSGT and my biggest hero. Even bigger than Sgt Rock.

hmmmm, seem to remember another comic book WWII sgt character that sold just as well as Sgt. Rock ones. Sgt. Steel or something? Can remember one comic book special issue that had featured both of them in the story.

I remember reading Sgt Rock comics into the 80s. Thompson and cigar intact.

Cool

I always liked the dc comic with the haunted stewart tank in WWII. The ghost of jeb Stewart always helped save the day. That was in the 70's. Haunted tank or something like that.

I used to read that all of the time also.. It came out in the early 60's and ran until the early 80's..
