Thanks

Just shoot it... I would recommend looking into a polymer bolt buffer, it will save the cheapo aluminum receiver where a steel recoil buffer currently resides.. They are worth their weight in gold. If you are unhappy with the trigger pull weight, as most are look into a $10 wolf trigger spring kit, these 2 simple and inexpensive mods make a world of difference...

Ditto. Shoot it and keep the action/bolt face reasonably clean. Get a decent scope at a show so you can take full advantage of it's capabilities.

Just shoot and enjoy...That is what dad always told me. A good scope with distance tic marks on the cross hairs are always a good choice. The bushnell 6500 at 6.5x is a good one or the Nikon 4.5-14x40.

Well,

a really, and I do mean really, good cleaning is always a good idea followed by lubrication with a light oil such as 3 in 1. Sometimes new guns come with a bit of "packing grease" that can really attract residue in a .22.

For the trigger spring kit from WOLF, look at natchezss.com
For the bolt buffer look on ebay or google it, there are so many manufacturers of them, just pick one...
