I recently bought a glock 26 and I love it. I took it to the range and was not as good as I would like to have been. I think it is because of the big sights it has. I would like to get smaller sights for it. DO you have any links for aftermarket sights? I would like to get the sight picture to tighten up a bit.
I have been shooting Glocks for almost 10 years now. I am one of the few that actually like the stock sights. Glock makes a adjustable rear sight. And one of the things I really like about Glocks is the availability of -1, std, +1 & +2 fixed rear sights. I purchased a sight pusher early on, so it is really easy to dial in your pistol (if needed). I have tried target sights, night sights & now run stock sights on all my Glocks. Even if you have shot handguns for some time, a Glock trigger can take some getting used to. If your groups are big, it is probably more practice with the trigger needed. I can consitantly shoot 3" 5 & sometimes 10 shot groups with stock sights at 15 yards. Ammo makes a difference too, I can't shoot that tight with Wolf for instance, (which I no longer shoot, it is hard on your ejctor). I have a steel adjustable target rear sight & a about 4 year old Amerigo front night sight .140 wide, I would sell for $50 bucks for the pair shipped. PM me if you are intrested. I also have a Lone Wolf 9 ultimate trigger stop I would throw in. I guess I should be a little more specific in what i am looking for. I want it to remain fixed, i would like either the front sight to be wider or the rear to be smaller. That way when I sighted in I would see at the most a hair of light on each side (rather than the barn door I look through with stock sight)
