That is an interesting view point of view I guess it depends on which side your on really. For that was my point i find the posting of the names of hunters as retaliating against some one who has not broken the law. This hunt has been a very hot issue in these western states. and if you think that the posting of names isn't to encourage people to act toward the hunters you must be unaware of the past several years history as we had the wolves reintroduced, they completely over bred predictions and spread across our lands and farms. Hunting seasons were proposed and then challenged in court on repeated occasions by these same people costing the state and the hunters money. then when it is all said and done, their lies dispelled, legal hunting allowed, they are going to post the names of the hunters, seems pretty cut and dry to me. we don't want retaliation against them just to be left alone as they want to be. But then I'm a simple guy

Rambo, I agree with you 100% you cant take away the right to protest. I've been involve in a few protests/rallies myself (work related) so I'm all for protesting. My point is a bunch of these peta or whoever they are show up at a person's home, an arguement ensues for whatever reason ie they're on private property, the "anti" may be looking to cause a fight to prove hunters are violent.... Now a family (wife, kids) are involved for no reason. I know in my house, someone goes after my wife or kids, there's going to be problems.

I guess really what I'm getting at is it just seems by posting these names, someone is looking for something to happen so they can prove some kind of point.

PS I didnt think you were trying to rub my rhubarb.

If they want to know everything I have hunted over the last couple years, all they need to do is call.

That's what we do. Work to change these laws we think are unjust or to close loopholes. Don't lower ourselves to the level of our opponents. Take the high ground.

I understand the wolf problem in the West and I wholeheartedly agree with having a hunting season for them or shooting for depradation of livestock. What this person is doing will pass when he sees that nothing is coming from posting names.

Protesting the hunt is one thing. Having one's CCW license or hunting info in the public record may well be "legal".

POSTING that info where ANYONE can see it,including those who may wish to use that info for criminal intent - THAT must NOT be allowed. Why not have the Home Insurance Industry POST all your home info - address, insured valuables, all your nice TV, Stereo, guns and other 'toys'.........
Same thing, eh?
