I had something similar going in the Mosin-Nagant forum for a while, but it's really not the right place for it. Periodically, I'll update this with recently taken photos. I've decided to venture into the field of photography, with my newly acquired Nikon D3000 w/ Standard Zoom-Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.5 lens. You never know what will show up in here. My cat makes an amazing subject, pictures of her always turn out great for some reason. Much better than some other subjects... sorry, cat haters. Family, friends, events, and I'll definitely throw in some gratuitous gun porn in there when I can. Rifles are hard to get to come out how you want them because they're so dang big.
I'll try not to post excessively, but rather wait until I have a few pictures to post at a time. I've only had the camera for two days, so you should see overall photo quality gradually climb. If anyone else has gotten bit by the photography bug, please feel free to post some of your works, no matter the subject!
Not all of them will be to everyone's liking, but hopefully every once in a while you'll find one that strikes your fancy. If not, there are plenty of other threads to browse. Comments and criticism are always welcome.

Your kitchen looks just like mine, oven too, that's weird. New cameras are fun. I have a Canon Rebel and have added a 500mm lens so I could get some further away shots and a set of macro lenses. Might have to get it out this weekend and play with it. Have fun with yours.

I bought a little digital camera, to keep track of work in the shop, and it does a fair job. But those new digital SLRs are really something! I will keep checking this thread, to see how you're doing with it! I love good photography!
That would be a cinch to do, PSL. Of course to make it look good I'd have to take out the background and make it just text and fist, but it would work.

I'll have to try that (taking pictures of assorted glow sticks a glowing) and see how my Canaon S2IS takes pictures of them and see how it stacks up. lol...
