My father told me a story of his youth yesterday while we were out hunting.
Long story short his father gave him a Stevens 520, which got ruined while he was in his 20's going qual hunting. He showed great interest in finding another. I was wondering how available these are to find, I am looking specifically for a 30in barrel and full choke (to be like his old one).
I have checked every gun shop around me, along with GB/AA with no luck in finding one.
Any Idea's? Or if you have one - I am willing to pay good money.
just saw one today,(3/6/10) at a gun show . he wanted $265. which i consider a little high. i shoot low brass in mine. the 520 was also made under the ranger and monkey ward brands. the 520 is a browning patent shotgun. check gunsamerica.
