Question Reloading components

I am interested in getting into reloading, does anyone know a good source for primers and powder in the NE Ohio area? I am looking to load for 303 Britt and probably .45 ACP. I can get the bullets on the net but really don't want to pay the shipping and haz-mat charges for the rest of the components. Any advice as to where to go and what I should be paying would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
E

Depends on where you are here in Buckeye land. Shelby, northwest of Mansfield, has The Sportsman's Den. Ashland, northeast of Mansfield, near U.S. 250 and I-71, has Fin, Feather, and Fur Outfitters. Coshocton has Woodbury Outfitters. I usually go to the Fin in Ashland. They have had primers, bullets, powder, etc. for several months. The Den is usually a little cheaper. Of the three, Woodbury's has the least amount of stuff for reloaders, but they just moved to a much bigger store and are expanding. All three have websites. The Fin will set stuff back for you if you call ahead if you're worried about them selling it before you get there.

There are also a number of smaller stores around, like Billy said. Google Ohio, reloading, shooting, see what happens.

Where are you in NE Ohio? There are a number of guys here from Ohio who might be able to name a good store near you if we a town you were near.

I am in Geauga Co., I do get down to Fin every once in a while, but I've noticed that unless they have a sale the ammo prices are usually pretty high. I don't know if it's the same with components. None of the Walmarts near me carry components, and I don't recall seeing them at Dick's. There are some Dunham's around but again their ammo prices are sky high (about $10 a box more than walmart or Dick's for .45).

Thanks for the input.

Fin's prices are good for reloading, but like everything else, have gone up a bit in price.

Thanks Lefty, since I'm just getting into reloading I figured I would ask for some local advice before spending way too much. I do like going to fin when I'm in the area. I know of some other shops that like to gouge.
