The weather Channel said this morning this is a blizzard going through.
How much snow did you get? In north central Ohio I had about 12-14" on the ground, plus some drifts.
While snow-throwing the driveway the wife was cleaning off mt car. I thought I'd hit her with a little "blast" in the behind but she turned around and the machine caught a drift and she got hit with a facefull of snow. Her sweater collar was full, and her face was solid white. Not hurt, but not mad either. I felt so bad I almost did some housework.
Took me 1 1/2 hours to clear my short driveway and make a place for the mailman to park his truck.

My brother in law lives in Silver Springs, MD and posted that they had 30 inches of snow, with more coming. He's exercised because the snow is threatening to put the kibosh on his Super Bowl party.
A friend just called me from Alexandria, Va....He has 30 inches of Snow and Said D.C. Was shut down...Take that Al Gore !
I live just down 95 from him. Took my dog out this morning at 11:00 and the snow was up to his shoulders. And it's still coming down! I need to go check on it again. I think I'll be stuck for a while. They plowed the development ONCE since this started. I've had to help a couple of different people get their vehicles moving since they don't know how to drive in the snow and the idjits were running 20" car tires on their SUVs.
I got 6 inches or so before it moved out of here and headed for you. Thankfully ours started as rain. We got over an inch of rain before it switched over to heavy wet snow.
Looks like more is going to head in Monday night and Tuesday for us (they say 6 or more inches) before heading over to you on the east coast! Get ready for a couple more feet over there!
Here, just south of Pittsburgh, PA, we had 21" of snow. Also, yesterday about 9am the power went out, and didn't come back on until 11:30pm. We had to cook dinner with a propane torch and candles. The soup was nice warm, but the hotdogs were a mix between warm and cold. It got cold in the house, but we are all good, so it wasn't too bad. Glad you guys are okay.
