Here in Wamego Kansas its at 1.59.

How high do you think it will have to go before people start trading in their SUVs and PUs for small cars? I remember in the mid 70's the big cars like the Cadillac and such sat on the lot while while Pintos and Vegas brought a higher price (used) and moved on down the road. I wouldn't mind picking up a Ford Super Duty that was only used to drive the kids to school. Lot of farm wear left in a truck like that.

$1.68.9 don't you dare forget that .9 of a cent.

All this and oil hasn't gone up per barrell yet, well not 20 cents a barrell like gas has per the gallon. It's a scam, its called gouging and it is supposed to be illegal - but when the Pres is an oilman anything is legal.

Talking

$1.599 in the north part of Kansas City.

In England here's what gasoline cost two years ago:

.92 schilling per liter
3.8 liters per gallon
1.5 $US Dollars to the English pound
Therefore, to compare their cost to ours

.92 x 1.5 x 3.8 = $5.244 per gallon

Compared to them we still have a bargain.

I really don't know what the prices are here in AZ. I usually don't pay attention to gas prices...it frustrates me.

Heres my gas price
1992 F-150 X-CAb long bed 351 (paid for)
Equivalant payment for same truck today=$450.00 per mo.
Gas @ average $1.60 per gal= $160 per month=100 gal per mo.
Gas price when making payment=$6.10 per gal
Gas price on 1992 F-150=$1.60 per gal
A savings of 73.77% or $4.50 per gallon. This frees up a $450.00 a month truck payment for beer and bullets, & the ocasional haircut.
