im new to hunting and needs advice

i have just started hunting and i have a bsa tactical xl air rifle for shooting rabbits in wales ( uk) i was wonderin wether a led head lamp (that i have for fishing ) is ok for using to lamp rabbits with my air rifle ?

Nope, Boyo you need a decent spot lamp which will dazzle the fluffy, cuddly little bunny wunnies. A LED headlamp will probably be worse than nothing, in that it will probably just muck up your nightvision. My advice would be, put in for your FAC and get a silenced .22rf and a decent lamp.

If your a decent shot the weapon you have is great ,but I agree about the light ig you can lamp hunt you need one that will reach out to your max range an lock them up while you dispatch em.

There are half a dozen on ebay UK.

Search for "rabbit lamps"...

I have one with a belt battery which I've used a lot in Somerset and here in Devon, and works well.... it's BRIGHT!
