Talking Hopefully on the Mend!

Had another appointment at VA today! On next round of antibiotics to hopefully finally kill this crud I have had on and off since October! Prescribed prednisone too so maybe between the two I will finally be well! This crud is cutting into my coveted winter coyote hunting and I cant stand for that!

I hope none of my friends here at G&G have had the time I have had getting over this! All I can say is thank the lord spring and fishing season is coming up! Nothing makes you feel better than those first few warm spring days basking in the warm sun fishing LOL! Plus IGOLD is coming up in March so hope to see some of you there! Maybe a group of us could meet for breakfast beforehand?

I still would like to try to sneak a yote hunt in sometime in the near future with all my patient buddies who have been wanting to go! If nothing else we will have a range day on my property with a potluck to all interested here at G&G come spring!

Hope to be amongst the living real soon! AND I would like to add that the VA clinic in Springfield really is top notch and my care providers are some of the greatest folks in central IL that REALLY care about us vets! If we could figure out the right combination of meds to kick these cooties into the next county I would be ecstactic... and so would my doc I'm sure!

talk to ya'll later hope all is well and spring finds us all soon!

Mike

Glad you're finally feeling better. My wife and I are (knock wood) over it after a couple of months. I feel better than I have in a long time but I suppose that coming back from the brink of death will do that. Don't get in a hurry to do stuff, get lots of rest, and hang in there.

I am so sorry you are feeling poorly the missus and I have been blessed to mainly be free from ailments so I cannot say I know how you are feeling. But I do hope you are better and feeling up to the hunt!

Thanks for the well wishes guys! It cant be Chitcago cooties I got as I am downstate and stay as FAR away from that town as possible LOL!!

Finally felt a little better today and went out and bought myself a 1949 Mosin Nagant to celebrate LOL! Happy valentines to myself! Dont think the missus would want it, but I may wrap it up for a Valentines present just to see what she says LOL... better have some jewelry on the standby so I dont get chased with a fryin' pan!

Hope to be shootin some coyotes in a week and let myself get good and over this crud... Its difficult stayin' in and behaving when I got prime coyote hunting right out my backdoor!

LOL... its funny but you are not the first to prescribe gun powder Trigger!

IGOLD is a GO for sure! You gotta join us for breakfast that morning! I will keep you updated as it gets closer. When the weather breaks I want to have an IL G&G get together on my property to do some shooting & potluck and your more than welcome to that too buddy. Will keep posted!

This last round of antibiotics and prednisone seems to be doing the trick (fingers perma crossed at this point LOL).!!

Gotta run... got cosmoline on my fingers.. I wonder if it will preserve my keyboard?
