NEF pardner problem

Im new here and have a question. I have a NEF pardner model sb single shot 20 ga. Some years ago somehow the transfer bar got lost. I recently found it in the carpet in the closet i keep the gun. The mechanisim that holds it( i assume a pin with a spring) is still missing. Can anyone tell me exactly what it is and where to get one and maybe where to find assembly/disassembly pics? Its not that i cant afford to take it to a smith or mail it to H & R for service, i would rather take the satisfaction of fixing it myself, it was given to my from my dad-my first gun.

Other than NEF, Numrich gun parts Welcome to Numrich Gun Parts Corp. would be your best bet. Should not be too hard to fix. The should have schematics that show how it works and what is what.

Here is the page. http://www.e-gunparts.com/products_new.asp?CatID=3626

my dads nef 20 ga just had the same problem. he mailed it to them for ~$16, and he just got it back the other day. everything replaced was said to be under warranty, even though it was purchased at a gun show with no proof of purchase.
