Pages Loading Slow

Ever since the Chevy Banner Ad was put up, the G&G pages have been loading slow.

It's very irritating to have to constantly wait on the page loading, after every change in topic or page.

I know it's not my system, because it does not do this on other Forums I post on.

I thought it was just me, noticing this!

And I am used to things running slow, with dial up.
But, I can go get a coffee refill, and come back
Before, the pages actually turn.

Exclamation Very Slow to ''change'' pages

We are on 'high' speed cable; I sometime don't even think I asked for a page; and re-click to see ''said'' page

Very strange; on the other sites; ''not'' an issue

Thank goodness other people are having issues, I thought it was just me; I was blaming our IS guys at work 'cos they've just renewed a couple of servers. Everything else seems OK it's only G&G I'm having issues with.

My previuos post Disappeared....Hmmm.
The problem I see is the adds at the bottom of the page are loading slow and 2 of them show red X's...The only one Loading is The Gunny Approved Box !
Everything else including the Top Banner ad was loading as fast as always...

Rich

The pages loads fine for me, but I'm guessing they are using Internet Explorer.

It does take a few seconds longer when I tested earlier.

I'm working on a new style, that is optimized for dial up as well as high speed.

I'm using the same browser (Firefox) that I have used since joining G&G. If I have not changed browsers, why would it now load slower for me?

Thanks for checking in to it.

Last night I installed a major web server load balancing software. I can tell a major difference from before.

Loading from 2-3 seconds per page, to under 1 second per page.

I noticed the same thing, and I use Firefox.
I also noticed that it would not remember me when I clicked on it(the site that is).
Works great now though.
