Old WARDS WESTERN FEILD No. 40 .22 S-L-LR

I need help guys.I cannot find any info on this rifle.I know there is a clip for it somewhere out there and I need one.Theres some amazing members in this forum that are WAY more computer savy than I,and I just know someone can help me with a link, website,or any info/advice. This rifle is extremely accurate, its got a wood stock, bolt action, but missing the clip.If I can just locate a clip for it ,I would be eternally grateful!!!!

It is the same as a mossberg 44. the mossy is a clip feed repeater.. You must have a model 40d as it is a clip feed repeater..

Look here for the clip for the mossy...

Now that I look at it closer I think the No.40 is actually No.46.

I cross referenced your gun and came up with marlin or mossberg, since it is clip feed it has to be a mossy made for wards.. Wards had several manufatures build thier guns.
Google mossberg model 44 and look at the pics to determine if it the same as your gun..

They were made from 1935-1937.. should be a 7 shot clip.. parts are limited on the model 42, look on gunbroker.com to see if the clip is available or search the internet.. one will show up somewhere eventually.. good luck..
