I need help guys.I cannot find any info on this rifle.I know there is a clip for it somewhere out there and I need one.Theres some amazing members in this forum that are WAY more computer savy than I,and I just know someone can help me with a link, website,or any info/advice. This rifle is extremely accurate, its got a wood stock, bolt action, but missing the clip.If I can just locate a clip for it ,I would be eternally grateful!!!!
It is the same as a mossberg 44. the mossy is a clip feed repeater.. You must have a model 40d as it is a clip feed repeater..
Look here for the clip for the mossy...

It is the same as a marlin 101 or the mossberg 44. The marlin is a single shot and the mossy is a clip fed repeater.. look at both to see which you have.

I have no idea how old this rifle is though. It says nothing about marlin are you saying that i need to match a picture of a marly, and or mossey to what i have?
I cross referenced your gun and came up with marlin or mossberg, since it is clip feed it has to be a mossy made for wards.. Wards had several manufatures build thier guns.
Google mossberg model 44 and look at the pics to determine if it the same as your gun..
They were made from 1935-1937.. should be a 7 shot clip.. parts are limited on the model 42, look on gunbroker.com to see if the clip is available or search the internet.. one will show up somewhere eventually.. good luck..

Ok its similar but mine has a teardown nut directly in front of the clip housing, and i saw none on the mosseys
Some have that and some don't, prooly a little different since it was made for wards but the clip should be the same.. call these guys and they will have more info for you and put you on the right track..
