so i shot 21 rounds from my brand new xd at 15 yards i hit the target maybe 8 or 9 times nothing where i was aming all to the left of the bulls eye im a pretty profecient pistol shooter but im wondering if its because its not broken in is why its accuracy is not so hot

Short 3" barrel. Pratice! Pratice! Pratice!. Start shooting at about
7 yards. (21ft.) When you start shooting good at the 7 yard mark,
then you can start shooting at a longer range. This is one of the
best ways to become a good marksman. Pratice! Pratice! Pratice!.

this was my first target with the same gun, brand new out of the box. First handgun I've ever owned.
