Has anyone shot both the Sigma and the M&P pistols?

I wonder what the difference in trigger feel is. I've shot a Sigma and didn't like the trigger, though the gun fit my hand well. What's the M&P trigger feel like? Don't have any around here that I know of to try. Thanks.

I have an M&P .40 and I like the trigger on it. Its the dual stage and once you take up the initial slack, it is a clean and consistent pull all the way back. There is an over travel stop built in. I believe the trigger is set for 6.5lbs, but with some stoning you can lighten it up about a half pound or so. I haven't tried it because I am not comfortable enough with the technique and don't want to screw it up.

Thumbs up

The M&Ps triggers are dramatically better than those on the sigma. I suppose you can get used to the sigma but i couldnt stand the HEAVY pull on my friend's sigma. I tried it quickly gave it back and returned to using my M&P. He was on a strict budget so the Sigma worked for him. He doesnt shoot often so I guess it doesnt matter much to him.

I shoot often and enjoy every round flying thru my M&P. The M&P is about 2x as much as the Sigma but I think well worth it.
