April & May just around the corner! I am ready. Jerry what dates ya' got in mind? Does anybody have dates that work better than others?

I shouldve been turning some dirt over today to get ready for planting but went fishing instead LOL!

I am pretty much set guys. If anybody has room and has a fold up table or two or three we could probably use some extras and some extra chairs. I got quite a bit of stuff but extra room to sit rifles and crockpots is a necessity LOL!

I am really looking forward to it and the wife is too. Feel free to bring wives, girlfriends and kids along, the more the merrier.

LOL! actually trigger I was just making a schedule the other day, and may looks better for me too! I am gettin my new huntin' dog in april but first must build new kennel, gotta build new coup for the yard birds, gotta plant huge gardens, finish front porch and general clean up...

on the good note, my buddy and I are building targets including the LONG range bell to ring! Got many pistol range targets, some 50 and 100 yd'ers plus the Long range bell that can be moved way out. May even work on a special zombie target since that seems to be the newest rage LOL! I am not letting this falll behind! MAY it is!

SATURDAY MAY 15
SATURDAY MAY 22

Vote now! its one or the other folks! We gotta nail one down in the next two weeks so we can mark our calendars!

With the help of our good buddy Cynikal we will have a special Mosin range open up!

The more clays brought the merrier! I am sure will shoot em up!

I personally am looking forward to the potluck! cant wait!

So its SATURDAY May 15 or 22nd. Potluck. Arrive 0900-1000... lunch at 1200 hrs... no definite end time. Room to pitch tents or park campers if needed. any G&G members or friends welcome!

22nd will probably get me skinned. That's my daughters b day. So far 15th may be workable. I've got a 19 may job deadline that might overrun due to the general contractor. May be incentive t bust it out.

OK!

MAY 15th it is!

DATE SET

however... no yard bird shooting LOL! clay birds ok, Mikes cornish cross chickens are off limits LMAO.

I am really looking forward to a good time and good eats since it is a pot luck! HA... oh yeah we get to shoot too! My buddy Brandon and I are hard at work building new targets for the shoot! we got plenty of pistol ranges and he has welded up a nice prototype long distance gong that spins up to indicate hits! We will try it tomorrow and if it passes the test I will comission several more for the shoot!

Lawn chairs and fold up tables are encouraged. My wife is off that weekend and we encourage women folk and youngsters to attend as well. Pot luck is encouraged but if your not a cookin' type it is not madatory and your presence is enough as I will undoubtably as usual cook more than needed! Maybe some grilled chicken just for trigger lol! Remember your shootin' irons and we will be shooting some clays so a scatter gun would be advised in your arsenal.

PM me for directions and remember I have enough land to camp out or park your camper so if coming from a long distance we can accomodate overnight and will probably end up building a nice bonfire either way!

Mark your calendars I know I am certainly looking forward to it!

Perfect! New Berlin gun show dont take long to go through! LOL
You can shoot, eat lunch, shoot in the early afternoon and hit the gun show on the way home! What a perfect day! LOL

We will probably hit the gun show on sunday anyway.

I am looking forward to it and my buddies and I have next sunday planned as drill and grill sunday! We are gonna grill out and build targets! We looked around and I think we will end up with around 7 25yd targets. 4 low caliber/ .22 ranges, 2 or 3 50yd-100yd targets, 2 or 3 long range bells to ring that reset out to about 300yds. Several shotgun clay shooting stations... and potluck lunch which is what I am most interested in LOL!

PLUS... there is always the old smokestack on the property which we are picking apart brick by brick!

Should be a whole lot of fun and good times.

Figure we may have a long range competition, dollar a shot which goes into a jar and work a bracket for winning the jar.

Hope to see a good turnout!

Mike
