40th Anniversary Ruger 10/22

Just picked this up yesterday to play around with. Figured I'd join the 5 million or so 10/22 owners. It came with the original box, the clear 40th anniversary magazine (which has not been used) and 2 additional 10 round magazines. Cheap ammo, here we come!

Thank you sir. My son has been trying to talk me into a 10/22 for awhile now. I wonder what he'll think of next?

Dang - you'd think an Anniversary Model would at least get a nice Walnut stock...

I know. It would be fitting you'd think. Well I got it for a great price and it hasn't been fired much. Oh well, we're gonna shoot it, not collect it.

Had it out today for the first time. It's pretty dang accurate at 25-50 yards with the open sights. It was windy today and apparently .22 cal flies around a bit in the wind. I hadn't shot a .22 in decades. We had a good time and did not spend much on ammo. We figured the cost of the gun w/ 525 rounds of ammo is less than we've spent on just ammo in a day or two. I can live with that.
