Strange request?

Hey all,

The dealer that's listed near me is no longer a dealer. They said they felt that Hawke wasn't giving them the service they'd felt they should be? But they didn't have anything bad to say about their product and did say when I asked that their letting the dealer license expire had nothing to do with their product line and that they had good scopes. But I have to see this for myself. Or at least here it from others I trust that have seen them.

So, heres my reason for the post. There is no other dealer close enough to me to make me want to just go and look at a scope. But, there might be one close to some of you?

So, PLEASE, if you would, PLEASE click on the link and then click on your state and see if there's maybe a Hawke dealer near you, call them and see if they have these 3 scopes, HK3340-1.25-4X24, HK3280-1.25-4X24 and or HK3282 1.5-6X44. If so and if it isn't to far down the road, who knows, you might just find they're worth buying one yourself when you need one down then road?

The company offers a free computer program as well. Not something I'll probably ever use, but hey, for someone else, it might be an added incentive and bonus. But to be honest, I think you can download the program even if you don't buy one or have one, but I'm not sure if it will work with any other scope/s? I haven't tried or checked it out though because it's not something I plan on using anytime soon, if ever.

Again, if you can do this I'd really appreciate it. Sure, I could just order one, but I really don't want to deal with the return BS and tying up my funds if they're NOT worth it and I don't know if they're worth it or not and would like to without having to order one just to find that out.

Trust me, if there was one closer, I'd take the drive. And I don't expect any of you to drive more then I would myself, maybe 20 or 30 minutes each way. That's no more then I'd say what, 20-25 miles each way maybe? The one that's no longer a dealer near me is/was only 5 minutes up the road. Trust me, it SUCKS they're no longer a dealer. It would have made it SO MUCH EASIER, OBVIOUSLY. lol

The next closest dealer is 1 hour and 35 minutes and that's too far for me to want to drive just to look at a scope. If I had other things to do while that way, I'd do it then. But I have no reasons to go that direction anytime soon.

So if there's a dealer close and you're willing to take a look at these scopes, let me know what you thought of them?

I know some might think it's a strange request, but hey, if this were a request from someone else and there was one close to me, I'd gladly do it if I could.

Hawke Sport Optics : Where to buy

If you want to see the scopes I'm looking at, or um, hoping someone will look at for me, lol, here you go...

Hawke 1.25-4.5x24 Endurance 30mm Riflescope

Hawke 1.25-4x24 Eclipse 30mm Riflescope

Hawke 1.5-6x44 Eclipse 30mm Riflescope

Well, which one? We need pics, descriptions of the reticle, all the specs. We've been along for a pretty good ride on this, so you owe us that much.

Sorry, I got to be honest, only been a few were along for the ride, you're one of them...But when I get it I'll post pictures as well as specs and links.

As for what made me decide, I took someones advice and took a serious hard look at the shots I'll be taking, or may have to take and decided which magnification would work best. I stopped worrying about any what ifs.

By the way, pm'ing you a tease picture. lol

AH, I have a telescope to do that. But trust me. Just from what I've seen, there's NO ONE worth breaking the telescope out for. LMAO

On a side note, I don't covet thy neighbor or thy neighbors wife...

I was going to suggest The Sightron I you mentioned, the hawk scopes were 11.8" and the Sightron is that short too. Overbore!
