That was one of the best plays I have ever seen in sports..Those two guys should have been beaten severely.

In 1976, when Rick Monday snagged the flag from the would be burners, it was our Nations 200th Birthday! I remember it. I was a junior in high shool and somehow it means much more to me now than I though about it then.

One of the many great things about this country is that everyone has the right to disagree with how things are done. Not only that, but we have the right to express our disagreement without fear of redress from the government. What some disgruntled types lose sight of is the simple fact that if they choose to exercise their right to disagree in a manner disrespectful to the men and women who fought to guarantee that right, or to the flag that represents everything they fought for, those same men and women may in fact choose to exercise their right to express their disagreement with the disagreers in a highly disagreeable manner.
