Heroic Cop

I've often believed that heroes are just ordinary men thrust into extraordinary circumstances wherein they make immediate and selfless decisions.

Some of you may have seen this on TV today. Check this out.

Watch the cop as he pushes the girl out of the way a split second before he takes the hit.

I just heard tonight that he's busted up a bit, but he's on the mend and doing well.

Well done, officer. Well done indeed.

Trying to Have a Baby? - Video - FoxNews.com

(not sure it talks about having a baby, but it's the right video)

They slowed it down and played it a few times on the news. It appeared to me (and the reporters) that he grabbed/pushed the girl out of the way as he started his getaway. I believe he may have saved her life.

possibly, its to quick for me to judge. either way its a good thing he was there to push her out of the way......although was she broke down there or did he pull her over

I don't believe they ever said what the girl was doing.

It said he was helping her out when it happened, I don't have an exact quote because I'm not opening it back up, but it DID say he was on an assistance, not a violation stop.

Damn, that quite a shove he gave the kid. Feet up in the air upside down. Guess it was way better than getting creamed by the car.

Out on the freeway, it felt like the blue lights attracted people like bugs to a porch light. Squelling tires was an automatic dive over the guard rail. It's real dangerous out there.
