Ahh, excuse my ignorance, but if those are Vietcong, then the muzzles would be pointed at American soldiers?
Not cool.
Not sure as I was born in 68' and my dad was in Nam. Nothing against the Vietnamese people, as I served with viet immagrant Sailors and Marines in Desert Storm and Iraqi freedom.
Yeah, they were used against "our guys", one should realize that if one is collecting com bloc weapons. That doesn't make them any less interesting, or functional as a weapon. They fact that "we" are buying "their" weapons should be a good indicator of who won in the long run.

I am for free access to any weapons, especially milsurp. The wonder and history of the weapon and where it has been; focus being on the weapon. I just take issue with a tributary video glorifying the NVA and VC armies, espiecially when we are in time where at least one or more people in our neighborhoods fought in that conflict. Having served 24 years as a Hospital Corpsman we have a custom to remove any cover (hat) when entering a hospital or medical space. This is to Honor our dead and dying. The keyword being Honor.
You all have the right to think that video is "cool" I will state that it is not cool.
Lesse, a historical video showing an event from history. Win, lose, or draw I'll label most if not all historical artifacts "cool".
I showed a picture of a NV sniper with his mosin sniper to a friend of mine who was in Vietnam, and he replied "cool" and we chatted about it some, and he said he never ran into something like that on his patrols. Sold a mosin bayo to a GI who had been in Korea and Vietnam and dealt in militaria, and we chatted about VC uses of weapons for a bit, and he told me about the Chinese SKS he brought back with papers. Another friend of mine learned to love the AK over there, despite it being used against him.
So I think yeah "cool" can apply.

Maybe you are missing my point. Each individual picture has significant historical value, but compiling them along with a revolutionary soundtrack as a tribute to a force that killed many Americans is what I have issue with. You may want to visit the Youtube site where the vid is hosted and read the comments. Only 10% of the comments are about the MN, the rest are of anti-American sentiment.
Say what you will about the Vietnamese people but I found them to be industrious and formidable opponent.
They truly could turn coal into a chocolate bar.
And some of the Chicks were really cute.
We had an interpreter assigned to us that could cook a 7 course dinner over a fire that you could hold in both hands that was all the bigger it was. She was taught by the French to cook any style. She even made Rations delectable.
And she was cuter than a box of speckled pups. She spoke 4 languages fluently and was extremely intelligent. She made trips to the field almost a joy.
I was a flight engineer and akicker over N.vietnam during the war the video itself i don't find disturbing and ilove collecting Mosins the only thing i find disturbing is the fact that the majority of the american people did not support their troops during the war although many did nice video God bless and support our troops they are the finest we have and because of them we are all free to disagree God bless America avet and damn proud of it
