I think I've grown to know the G&G family pretty well over the past couple years and probably know the answer to this, but I'm curious what you guys think of the Oscars.

A public viewing of some of the most egocentric personalities on the planet for the sole purpose of feeding those egos. Where else can someone stand in front of a camera and claim to have concerns over "social justice" while wearing a half-million dollar dress and a few hundred thousand in make-up and jewelry?

Even if I wanted to watch it I cant. I have Cablevision and they are fighting with ABC so ABC pulled their station. Apparently since Cablevision charges its customers for ABC, a free over the air station, Abc decided they want Cablevision to pay them. Its all about the customer's they both say. Yeah the customer's money.

Sometimes when asked for my name at a fast food place I give the cashier the name, "Oscar." Seems appropriate since that was my Grandad's first name.
