Well,

to me it is not worth anything as I see this as a caliber that will just continue to decline in popularity. I would not buy it.

I would think you could get $500 for it in a private sale with little problem. I own (3)41 magnums [7.5" redhawk, 4 5/8" blackhawk, and 4' titanium Taurus]. Dealers would offer you less money, because they have to resell it at a profit. Regardless of what Nathan says, the 41 Magnum is going nowhere. New ammo is out and Ruger, Taurus, and S&W chamber guns for it.

I got a Marlin FG in a trade,so I was looking for a woods companion for it.I bought reloading dies,so I'm not worried about the poularity of the caliber.By the way I have 4 10mm's,I like good calibers that aren't main stream.

I have two 41's and I think they best hunting caliber made. I have a Smith & Wesson model 57 6" barrel a Ruger Bisley Hunter 7.5" with a leupold 2x scope. These two revolvers are what got me into reloading, it is a reloaders caliber. But anyone that say's the 41 Mag. is worthless needs to do some reading on it. And BTW I was at a huge gun shop last Sat. they had over 300 hanguns for sale, I asked if he had any 41 Mags. He said they are gone the day he get's them in. He said he wish's he had 100 of them.

Just my 2 cents, Mel

The .41 Mag is definately one of the most underrated hangun cartridges around.

Tack driver,

Thank you, As far as I'm concerned the 41 is a much better caliber the my 44's, I hunt wild boars and deer with my ruger 41. Up to 100 yards it's deadly

Poo-Poo on Nathan !! He probably talks down the 10mm as well !! I have missed out on two 41's at the shop !! Bad timing, they come in, I have no $, they go out the next day !! 41 Mag is very popular up here and there is always ammo available. It, like other calibers, are a reloader's dream !!
