Took apart my repro sniper yesterday to run some fine sandpaper on the various trigger parts, and found to my surprise the pivot pin for the trigger had been punched into place. My last 2 91/30's didn't have this feature. Anyone else have that?
More and more, I'm starting to think this rifle was originally made up in sniper config, probably post war and never put into service. Too many things about it say "not run of the mill 91/30 made into a sniper repro". No scope serial on the barrel shank, but real snipers have been found that way too...
