Has got to where I only go to gun shows if I am looking for something in particular which my favorite gun store does not have or can not get. Then, I figure gun shows are next best thing because they will have dealers just out of my normal driving area, or maybe a couple I just missed. In the case of a firearm, I prefer to handle it & get the feel of it before buying, so do not normally buy on line, unless I have handled it in the past & just wasn't able to buy at that time. Around here, gun shows have been $7 & free parking. If they ever start adding parking fees, I'll start shopping on line more.
mitchr: There is a Pawn shop near me and they have a "load" of fire arms.
Hand guns, shotguns, rifles, all makes and models. Large and small cals.
It`s a great place to go for a "look-see." Especially when your looking for the .........one!
Yeah tell me about it. I have never been to a gun show before. I know sad. This weekend will be the first time. I am meeting a coworker at work and then were taking one car over and splitting the parking fee. So it will only cost us $12 each instead of $16 each.
The one that comes to my home town I hear has free parking with like an $8 admission fee.

Plenty to look at. Enjoy your day at the Gun show.

Plenty to look at sure. Sadly all my tax return is gone and so is the money I sold a piece of Jewlery for. Which could have netted me a very very nice AR or a few AK's. But it went to bills and I guess getting out of a little debt is better then purchasing something "I don't technically need."
But I am hoping to find a good deal on a use or new .38 or .357 or Mosin Nagant.
Have a couple in east Texas that have good selections, but hour to 1-1/2 hour drives in different directions. Otherwise, a bunch of stops with small selections at each one. Actually, the gun shop with an inside range where I go to shoot has a pretty decent display & is only about 30 minutes away. Of course, I'm in there often enough it don't take me long to walk around & spot the new ones.
