How many AF Cops, past/present/future, do we have here?

SF Academy in 2001
721st SFS, Cheyenne Mountain AFS 2001-2005
115th SFS, Truax Field, WIANG 2005-present
Too many deployments to list!

Ninja,
More of a 'Wannabee' than a Sky Cop. I was a Security Police augmentee as a Sgt. at Castle AFB '74-'76. Augmentees pulled the mid shift, carrying an empty M-16 (simulated loaded) guarding a roped off empty parking spot (simulated alert Buff).
Second tour at Castle in '78-'85 I was a Law Enforcement Augmentee. That was better, mostly Gate Guard, but did a little patrol work as well.

Later I became a flier (C-130 FE). I qualed with the GAU-5 and Remington 870 for deployed location ground security. That was fun!

Why is it that whenever there is trouble somewhere, it usually involves the cops? Can't trust any of them!

I lived in the dorm with the SP's. I stayed out at a SAC Missile site with the SP's. I always got along very well with them. The LE Motorcycle cops at Clark Air Base were different story they were A$$ HOLES. A bunch of wanna be Chips....

Not an SP but good to see fellow USAF folks on G&G. I spent 8 years at Canon AFB, NM and a few at Plattsburg AFB, NY....also traveled a bit to Pease AFB in New Hampshire.

Post enlistment I enjoyed a few crisp January mornings with the B1-B at Ellsworth...brrrr!

While I was not an SP, I did carry an M-15 when I was on active duty. I would like to find one but noticed there are Model 15-2's and Model 15-3's on the market. Any one know which would be closer to the ones issued out of the armory?
