Illegals on welfare, or what I saw at the store last night
Last night I did my grocery shopping, and when I went up to check out there were some people I would assume were here illegally. The reason I say that is I used to work in a staffing office, and something like 80% of all mexicans employed through there had 8-10 dependents claimed on their taxes (keeps them from paying any), expired green cards, and all worked from a pool of similar SS numbers, even some of them having the same. When I brought it up I was told to shut up about it. Anyways, back to what happened last night.
I got in line behind a family that could not speak any english who had over 400 in groceries, and alot of it steak and such. They had all the food seperated from the stuff that was non-food. When the total was announced the female whipped out a welfare card! I know what one of these looks like because my sister has one. The Indiana torch and stars is kind of hard to miss on the light blue background. What made it even worse is th wad of cash that would choke a horse they pulled out to pay for the non food items.
My question is why in the world do we support these people? They come to our country, and the very first thing they do is break the law by entering illegally. So, that means they are criminals. Then they refuse to learn our language, and somehow they end up with huge wads of cash. They dont pay taxes and they depress the job market by working for less, which in turn drives wages down. They stay here for 5-10 years, send loads of cash back to Mexico or wherever they are from, and then leave. Seriously, why does the government see fit to support criminals and to give them what basically amounts to our tax dollars? Why not take these criminals and toss them out? Why do I struggle, pay taxes, and make it on my own without government support when these people get handouts like that? It really is not right, not right at all.
If we could round up all of the so called Undocumented Immigrants and send them home, it sure would open up a lot of jobs for our unemployed workers.. I know it'll never happen but I can still have a dream....

It's been that way for too long. The countries they come from and the illegal labor unions here help them do this. First it's the anchor babies, then it's the rest of their relatives. I think it is coming to a flash point, because the ants are tired of the grasshoppers. If we let this continue America will turn into a cartel infested septic pit like their country, but the government does nothing to stop it.
It feeds their socialistic agenda. A drunk illegal crashed into a cop last month here and they had to let him walk. They get utilities with their meticulate cards and never pay. They just get a new card.

Our government does not have a backbone anymore. I have debated this topic so long its unreal. Im personally very sick of losing America to them. A recent study showed that Mexicans will be the biggest nationality in America by 2050. Thank what?
The government cares more about political correctness and world opinion than it does about our own citizens. If we were willing to show some backbone you'd have a lot fewer illegals here. It would not be pretty, however.

Patrol the border with AC-130 Spectres. When the illegals try to cross, let them get about 100 yards into the country and have the Spectres open up on them with the Vulcan miniguns. In the morning, send some of Sheriff Joe's prisoners to toss the bodies back across the border.
You would have to do it two or three times before the coyotes who lead these illegals got the message, but it would work. There is also a Supreme Court precedent concerning the 'anchor babies' that for some reason prosecutors don't seem to use that would get families booted out, anchor babies or not. In the 1880s, a Chinese businessman and his wife had a baby in San Francisco. I don't recall why, but there was some question as to the kid's citizenship - was he an American native-born or a Chinese national? The decision that came down had to do with the intent of the family. They had not come to America intending to immigrate here; they had come for business and intended to return to China. The Court ruled the child was not American despite the fact he was born on US soil.
Why don't the courts of today cite that precedent, thereby destroying the 'anchor baby' concept, and just toss the illegals out instead of allowing the existence of the 'anchor baby' to become an excuse to allow them to stay and leech the resources we don't have enough of to care for our own people?

They do have the resources, with the National Guard, to protect the border, but always have an excuse for not doing so. What will it take, to make them do the will of the citizens? It is mostly political BS with our neighbors. With the money that illegals earn here in the U.S., they send alot back to Mexico where their families spend it IN MEXICO. With that said, we have to keep good relations with Mexico because of the War on Drugs as well. That's the "best" explanation I can give you. Otherwise, right now they are too busy dickering with healthcare and our economy to worry about a "minor" thing.

I worked Operation Jump Start with the Border Patrol as a Guardsman in Arizona. Even though we had a whole bunch of NG personnel down there, we are restricted by the Posse Comitatus law in actually helping apprehend these people. We were nothing but a LP/OP and couldn't even defend ourselves with force if we were attacked. Sure, we were armed, but we would be tried as civilians in any shooting happened without military support.

You know I see this happen with plain old people not just non-citizens and it pisses me off a little every time. there I am in line with my boxes of store brand mac-n-cheese, store brand hamberger helper and cheapest hamberger (with the highest fat content). and there in front of me are the people with the food card buying meat cuts from the butcher counter, stakes, sea food and all the high priced name brand foods on that card of theirs and yet they whip out the cash to pay for the beer and smokes. No I'm not opposed to the food stamp program if it works it can be a blessing to stuggling families in a hard spot. but years ago, when I was working on my undergrad I did a practicum with the department of family services in another state and I gotta say the amount of money they give people is far more then most of us paying cash would spend on food a month (like families getting 500 and 600+ per month). further, if they had left over money in time they lose it so it is designed to encourage them to spend it all. I always thought maybe in the spring they should give those families a box of seeds, fishing license and a 6 month supply of bait and in the fall hunting licenses for those that can have them and reduce the amount of money in half. what is the old saying "give a man a fish feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed hom for a life time"
The Illegals are definitely a big problem but there is a lot of good ole Americans that are just to damn sorry to work. They come in every color and they know how to use the system.

That was meant to keep the government from using troops against citizens, but they are now using it to protect the illegals who cross the border. There is nothing that says we can't use the guard to protect our country from invasion, and that's exactly what we're facing. They are going to destroy us, without firing a shot!
you are so right im ImNewHere, It would take alot to stop this problem. they sell us drugs and get money , they come here and work as illegals. pretty soon well be hopping the fence trying to get work. I hope they are as sympathetic as alot of America has been.

You know, I could on and on about this. I live in Texas, and believe me the Mexicans are taking Texas back...slowly but surely.
Now I don't have anything against Mexicans. I love their culture and I probably couldn't live a week without their food, and I generally find that most of them are decent, hard-working types. But that doesn't mean that I agree with the ones who are milking the system for all its worth (which seems to be a large number of them, btw).
What hacks me off the most is that I'm well educated and I work in a white collar professional job, yet I'm barely able to make ends meet. After all of the taxes and crap come out of my paycheck and for my home, etc., I'm left with almost nothing....yet the folks on welfare seem to be existing on a higher standard of living than me. Most of the ones I (personally) know who are welfare just sit at home all day and smoke cigarettes. I see them when I'm leaving for work in the morning and I see them again when I get home at night. Always doing the same thing - NOTHING!
When I was in undergrad, I worked for a U.S. Congressman from one of the border regions of Texas...and you wouldn't BELIEVE how messed up those areas are! Their public infrastructure - namely hospitals and schools - are completely overwhelmed with non-paying "visitors" who are sucking the system dry. Yet my medical insurance keeps getting more expensive every year. Gee, I wonder why? And now the government wants to take over the health care system and make it ten times worse. Brilliant!
On an aside...I wonder how many adventurous backpackers will dare to stray too close to Iran's borders? Probably not very many, and that's because most countries - even crappy ones like Iran, where nobody would really want to live anyhow - actually, you know, SECURE their borders.
what im concerned with is why an illegal immigrant is picked up by any government agency why they are not deported ASAP. rather they are released as it is not state troopers jobs, or IRS agents, or game and wildlife or whatever to handle these criminals. anyone found in this nation who is illegally here should be deported immediately without hesitation or concern for what they have going on here. we dont even need to "round" them up, just deport the ones we find
America has been " Milked" by these illegals for many, many, years now. Our Govt has become ineffective and nullified in this matter by allowing vast numbers of these rats to build actual mini- cities in the US. They come here for money and benefits only, and have no cultural, historical, or ancestrial ties to the US, and could care less about its well being. We are now unable to get any politician to do anything at all about this, while these rats demand more and more rights, and benefits. I don't believe this gov't can even call its soul its own anymore. The discrimination bandwagon has led most laws to be debated, and even changed in the favor of illegals. We are paying a dear price in this country for blind political correctness, no other country has taken liberalism to this extreme. Everyone has rushed to good old sucker America, for the gravy train ride. We are now paying a dear price for our lack of enforcing laws in this matter. I hope this changes soon!
Oklahoma has finally started doing that, and if more states would grow big hairy ones, we might be able to amke a little progress. I don't hate those folks, but I hate what they are doing to my country. If they want to come here, then do it legally, and learn to be a US citizen. They are milking us dry, and our own government is allowing it to continue! I worked the fields in the summer,when I was a kid, in order to have spending money. It helped me to learn responsibility, and to grow into an adult. Our kids no longer have the opportunity, and sit in front of their games and computers all summer! That is what's helping to destroy our nation!
It also burns me up that these people can afford what seems to be a higher standard of living than I can. I put in my 40 (sometimes more) hours a week, really get nailed on taxes and insurance, and am stuck driving a crappy 17 year old car because I can't afford anything newer with all my bills and taxes I pay. They come here and are driving cars that are less than 5 years old in no time and can afford pretty much all they want by milking the system. It's so frustrating that according to recent statistics I just make it into the top 50% of wage earners, yet it seems I barely get by and the people who leech off of society live better than I do!
I want to toss all illegals out, don't let them back, and force all on welfare to do some type fo work for 40 hours a week. Make some clean ditches out, pick up trash, etc. If they use the excuse that they have kids force others on welfare to work in daycare for those 40 hours a week. Make them all work to get what they get. I certainly have to work for what I have, and I don't want to work for what they have too.

The reason California is broke is because of illegals.
What do you and I do to force our State and Federal goverment to round up these Roach's that are takeing your's and my tax money ???

Before we can adequately address the "illegal" problem and make any headway, we need to address the "Government" problem first. Throw those lazy tax-cheating, non-working bums in DC out, and put some decent Americans into the offices. THEN.... we can tighten up Immigration, and throw the 'visitors' OUT for good.
