Cool Hello Again!! Been awhile.

First of all, Thanks Chris for your time in resetting my account.

Looks like a few things have changed here since I was last here in the middle of 2008???? WOW, what have I been doing all this time?? Well besides doing the obvious I went back to school and am now a Deputy Sheriff in the next county over. So now I get to shoot somebody elses guns and ammo whenever possible and sometimes I also do this to deserving individuals!

Well its good to be back as a part of this great forum, looking forward to getting reacquainted!

Iceman My son who is an LEO got a speeding ticket comeing home from where he lives late late one night.

He was going 80 mph when he met up with a State Trooper.

My son at the time had his personal Glock 40 S&W wedged between the seat and consol.
His duty belt was sitting in the front seat, it had a Glock 45 caliber in it.
My son even had his AR-15 muzzel down in the floorboard propped on the passenger seat.

It was between 1 and 2 A.M in the morning on a remote 2 lane highway...Pitch dark.

The State Trooper walks up to my son's truck drivers side window and say's Drivers License.
Which my son handed him.

The Tropper never once shined his flash light into my son's Nissan Frontier truck.
When the Tropper took my son's DL the Tropper turned his back on my son and walked back to his unit to make out his ticket.

The Tropper returned to my son's truck for my son to sign the ticket and once finished turned his back again on my son and walked back to his unit and left.

My son sat in his truck thinking what a STUPID ect ect ect... I want type the words he probable said and thought.

Iceman what 2 serious mistakes did the trooper do that dark night on that lonely 2 lane highway ???

1st. he failed to look in my son's truck. If he had of he might of chit in his britches.

2nd and most important mistake the Tropper made was he turned his back on my son and walked back to his unit twice.

He should of walked backwards.

If my son was a bad guy and wanted to do harm to the tropper he could had done it easy.

Iceman don't ever make this mistake...A.H

Thanks A.H., they drilled that into us at the academy, and yes I work nights. Its obvious that trooper was more concerned about his ticket quota than his safety or doing a simple visible investigation for contraband in the vehicle. Kudos to your son for not just flippin out a badge tryin to get out of a citation.

When he got home he was Pissed and it was'nt about getting a ticket. He was a dispatcher one time at our county jail.
I went and paid the ticket for him but the county kept it off his record. My son is a state ranger now, use to be a city police officer.

Iceman if you have'nt already you need to join Officer.com ...Mike
