I just got this in an email so I don't know if any of it is true or not. But I thought it's better to be safe then sorry and just pass it on. Below is the email copy and pasted just as I got it...
Also, I have no clue as to what police department or courthouse this came from. But odds are, one gang knows about it, one criminal knows about it, they all will sooner or later so it doesn't really matter which of the above it came from...

There is a gang initiation reported by the local police department that gangs are placing a car seat by the road...with a fake baby in it... waiting for a woman, of course, to stop and check on the baby...
Note that the location of this car seat will usually be beside a wooded or grassy (field) area ...and the person - woman - will be dragged into the woods- beaten and raped- usually left for dead.

I doubt any of it is true. Not much that comes by mass e-mail ever is.
What someone ought to do is catch the SOBs that write garbage like this (probably from their mom's basement) and, well, give them a little gang initiation, if you get my drift.

I kinda agree with patriot but on the fact everything has to be taken with a grain of salt because these new gangs founded by the internet generation may decide to copy it but i wont think much of it unless i read it on a major news site or in the paper.
These emails are along the same lines as the "send this to 10 of your closest friends or a ghost is going to come out of the closet and kill you in your sleep" type of stuff, sounds interesting but has no basis in reality.

snopes say this has been around ,on internet, for a long time and if it did occur would not render it impossible to see out of windshield. Not able to find a account of this happening.

Well, I guess it's better to be safe then sorry. I mean, gang bangers and criminals can have and get emails as well. And it may not have been used, but, it could be. Thus, the better safe then sorry part. Especially for women...
That's the only reason I posted it. And honestly, I really didn't care if it was true or not or what Snopes said. Because if one woman or one person reads it and sees it and is now aware of it, and it saves them or they pass it on and it saves someone, anyone, then I'm glad and that's why I posted it...

If you're on a street where the speed limit is 25 or 30 mph, trust me, it doesn't move egg very well. Trust me, I know.
Besides, a person immediate first reaction is to to turn their wipers on, hit the wash and try to clean it. Reading this might make them think before doing that???

I've been watching Gang Land on the History Channel and I figure in less than 2 years most everyone here at Gun and Game will have to deal with some form of gang violance.
My son is a Park Ranger he had to go to a call out on the highway close to his Park that is in a remote area. Ranger's in Arkansas are equal to State troopers. They can enforce the law all through out Arkansas.
To make a long story short the Superintendent of the Park wrote my son up and suspended him for 3 days without pay because he took down an Illegal that was drunk and resisted arrest.
This same Illegal was on probation from prison.
He was on parole for drive by shootings in California and was a gang member or use to be one.
The superintendant or my son's boss thought he acted ugly to the illegal's.
It appears instead of getting better, it's getting worst in some states. The hispanic gangs are growing leaps and bounds and it's just a matter of time they'll be in a lot of our towns and citys.
EDIT ::: I need to ad this where yall want think my son is a bad cop. While dealing with the above Illegal he alone had to hold off 4 other Illegals that had pulled up in a pick up.
He had to demand and command them to stay in there truck with one getting out and disabaying but he prevailed and they got back in there truck.
It was a bad situation to be in and then get written up...A.H

My sister in Charlotte, NC tells me a current MO is to bump a vehicle from the rear and then under pretense of insurance info. exchange, rob, rape or take the car.

This sounds plausable but I doubt it's going to become a epidemic. I was egged on my motorcycle once. One second I'm riding through town the next everything went yellow. Glad I had my visor down.

I completely agree. But what do you do when you can't? I mean, I carry a knife, but that means I have to get and or be close to the low-life.
And I hear in some states even pepper spray is illegal to have or carry. WTF. The criminals in some states of knowing their victim WILL BE unarmed and unable to defend themselves.
Trust me, things get bad, I'll carry anyhow and worry about the consequences later. I'm not saying it's OKay to break the law now do I suggest it. But I'm not about to become a statistic or have my family be one either.
And again, this is only if things get real bad will I do that...

If a gang member initiate wants to prove something they will just walk around until they find someone they think will be an easy target and roll them, they arn't going to mess around playing games with unknown potential targets waiting until someone flashes their high beams or turns on their windshield wipers.
Criminals are predators, they look for and prey on those they perceive/know to be weaker.
A righteous person may think this way of thinking to be cowardly and that may be but it works. If the object is to steal money from someone, who is going to potentially offer the least resistance and thus the higher end result of the criminal getting the money, a small 110 pound female or a 250 pound man.
Likewise a group of gang members going to start a fight with a lone male or one with a buddy vs a group of 5 or 6 other guys walking together.
They look for any advantage and exploit it.

That's really sad when a good cop can't detain a criminal without being written up. Seems the world is so worried about being "Politically Correct" these days they forget that cops are good people who are hired to enforce the law and have to deal with bad people when doing so. I wonder if he would have been written up if he had arrested a white American legal citizen for breaking the law. Rodney King really made it tough for a good cop to do his/her job dealing with bad criminals.
