After 12 years

So there i was today and we finished qualifying but still had an hour to burn and i had spare rounds.

Anyways got to thinking about a post i saw here and thought to my self " ya know it has been a very long time since i have done any training left handed"

so just screwing around at first i thought. maybe i should warm up but my ego and mouth can sometimes exceed brain , so long story short the range master was all for it .
next month it will have been 12 years since i have done a whole set lefty.

so here are the pics . range was 25 yards both standing and kneeling with and without cover timed mostly with 10 rounds un timed with right arm in a sling.

overall i think i did fairly well . im no pro at left handed shooting as you will see below but i still fall under the "adequate" standard i mentioned in the other thread.

sorry these pics where taken from my phone.

I believe that would lay the hurting on any bad guy that was unfortunate enough to be downrange.

the ammo was some European stuff in an orange and black box made in switzerland. cant remember the name . it was expensive and i would have rather shot WWB for half the price

Do you mean the new stuff they carry at Walmart? I haven't shot any myself but the guy at Walmart told me he has gotten a lot of negative feedback from customers.

Yes same stuff. I didnt notice anything good about it myself. No complaints to its performance I guess but for the price I could have saved money getting WWB ( they are out constantly where I live).
its RUAG or something like that .

Most RUAG (Swiss) ammo is top notch and the rifle ammo is used extensively in Competitions.

Is there an advantage to the RWS? I realize it is 124 grain & Walmart's WWB & Federal is only 115 grain, but unless you are carrying 124 gr. SD ammo & want 124 gr. FMJ for practice, why pay the extra? The Walmart clerk didn't have a clue, naturally! Just curious. I started to buy a box, but opted for the cheaper ammo for target practice.

At twenty feet with my left hand I stay in the 5" circle about half of the time. That's with the Browning HP or the SW 686+. Using my Sig 239 or Berettas I can't hit **** left handed.

walmart is constantly out of wwb and fedral.
in fact i just bought 12 boxes of federal.
what happened was i go in and they get a shipment at one walmart for a single case which holds 20 boxes. limit is 6. get six its now down to 14. wife says i should get more when i get home. so i call em up to make sure they still have them ( 30 minute time lapse) sorry we sold the last of it 10 minutes ago from clerk.
luckily i know that if that walmart gets them and opens them at that time then another walmart will open thiers an hour later so i could get 6 more before work at the one near work.
that is why we have to sometimes buy that more expencive stuff.
lack of options

Thanks. wasn't that hard, granted it sure felt awkward and i had to adjust stance especially when i had to move to cover before firing because i kept wanting to move and stand in right handed stances. maybe that ammo was better for me than i thought.
