my and the wife spent a few nights at our favorite place in Ky Buckhorn Lake State Park.

was nothing going on just relax and vegetate. stopped at a yard sale found a hardly used pony saddle for $25 snapped that up. on the last night sitting on the balcony we watched 4 doe come right up on the back lawn. they were not afraid, the lead doe got with in 10 ft of the dining room windows, looking in.

by the way where does one find the saddle makers mark...if they do that.

well i looked no markings on the cantel, nor anywhere else. for $25 i can't kick about it, still in nice condition.

Sounds like a nice retreat PAPA G! I only went to Buckhorn Lake once during the years I spent in KY. I spent a lot of time around Cave Run though.

I always believed vacations were for relaxing not running around all over the place tryiing to see 1000 different things in one week. Sound like a nice peacefull time.
