I never thought this would ever happen. But I do fear the end is very near. especially when you have to press # 2 for english. I agree the market is going to crash, I already lost my money in there and wanted to take what little I had left and my advisor kept saying it will come back. yeah right to late now! We need to start taxing China and Mexico and imports for one thing. Russia and China will go together to bring this Country down, then you have North Korea who is stocking up and have been for years. North Korea will bring us down with Russia and China...

I ascribe to the "Three Percent Rule" - that's about how many of us will be willing to fight to remain free. The rest just want to go along with the flow, collect their welfare checks, drink a cold Budweiser while watching football or Oprah......
I'm more than willing to fight, in order to remain free...and I'm gonna fight a little bit harder, if they get in the way of my freedom to drink a cold Budweiser or laugh at Oprah!
If Obama isn't voted out in 2012, I think people will be a little more than willing to raise the level of dislike for the government....
If I am doing the math right in my head, that will be my first election to vote in.

And I believe if the illegals are given amnesty before 2012, and they vote to keep the Dems. (who will have been the ones to give them amnesty to get their votes) in office, I think that will or could be another ignition to a civil unrest fuse.
Right now, there are many things that could ignite the fuse. The economy, jobs, or lack there of, our national debt and or government over-spending, taxes being raised, peoples retirement accounts continuing to tank, the healthcare reform law creating excessive wait times to see a doctor or have tests done, people dying because they had to wait to see a doctor or get tests done because of healthcare reform, and many more.
I think even a VAT (value added tax) would or could be enough to ignite a fuse.
The thing that concerns me about the stock market and the fact many people have their retirement plans in them is someone purposely doing something that would cause them to tank just for the purpose of them having to then turn to the Government for help. thus forcing them to turn to some newly created entitlement program?
I mean think about it. If someone wants to force a lot of people to have to rely on their government, causing their retirement accounts to tank would be one way to do that...
Sorry, I just don't trust my government anymore and I put nothing past anyone. Especially when it comes to ones thirst and or hunger for power. One with an over-sized ego. A group of rich bastads thinking they know what's good for those who aren't.

IMHO, civil unrest will start in 2013 When the debt-to-income ratio of the USA will become so bad that Foreign Govt.s will no longer loan to the USA by buying T-bills. The states that are 'broke' now will ask the Feds for bailout money to meet the state's welfare payments. The Feds won't have that money to bailout the states. THEN the welfare masses will riot and spread out across the country trying to 'take' what is 'theirs' by force. Other groups like the illegals will join in the rioting with their own agenda. Anarchy will start in pockets of LA, NY City, Phoenix, Detroit, Chicago, Atlanta, etc. and spread. Martial law will be declared. The thoroughly fed up middle classes will band together in militias and will fight both the rioters and the Feds. The USA economy will evaporate and we will stagnate for several years. Part of the Southwest will be taken by Mexico. Russia will take over our interests in Europe, China will take over in the Far East. The Muslim people of the middle east will fall into general warfare among themselves. When it is all shook out over five to ten years, China will be the most powerful nation in this world.

It'll happen when people can't make ends meet. The health care legislation, the VAT and Cap & Trade will accelerate things considerably. This country has gone from a single-income family being able to make it to a point where a two and sometime three income family is barely able to pay the bills in 1/2 of a century.
Cut off Welfare and it will happen immediately, but from an entirely different group of people.

I pretty much agree with Big Cholla - it won't be started by US, the law-abiding tax-payers. It will start when The System fails completely, and the great unwashed masses of "Have-nots" start preying on and invading the homes of the "Haves" - US! We will fight back, some will die, some will kill........
Eventually an uneasy 'peace' will ensue as those remaining are trying to scrape a living from the ruins. Keep your ammo stocked and your magazines loaded.
