I just purchased a 223 Handi Rifle single shot. Can I shoot up to 400 yards and still have enough killing power on Coyotes. I have attached a 3-9 x 40 scope by Armsport.

400 yards is a long hunting shot for any .223 rifle in the real world. If you can get past the wind drift and bullet drop and place your shot OK, I'd say the .223 round would have enough zip to kill a coyote at that range.

3 to 400 ft lbs of energy at 400 yds. it'll work
