Remington ultra mag question

I was at the range today and a man who claimed to a gun dealer started telling me that he information about remington scrapping the ulta mag caliber in all guns and no longer selling ammo for them in the near future. Anyone else heard of thses rumors? I pray his man does not know what he's talking about.

Many folks who claim to be dealers indeed don't know what they're talking about. Here's hoping that's the case.
