Field Mason, Model 572

Have a Femington Field Mason, Model 572 (22 calb) that was handed down from my grandfather.

I've been unable to find much about this gun online. Anyone have a clue of it's age?

Thanks!

thanks for the information.. yes.. it is a 572 Fieldmaster.

I don't see a serial number listed anywhere on the rifle. Every other gun I've seen to date has had one. I'm guessing the serial is either someplace not visible or not included on older versions... any ideas?

Thanks again!!

Some older guns don't have them. In 1985 I think they required serial numbers.
